VALLEYCARE CHARITABLE FOUNDATION NAMES CHAD ANDERSON, PA-C, TO BOARD OF TRUSTEES

Livermore, CA – Chad Anderson, a Stanford Health Care – ValleyCare (SHC – VC) Physician Assistant and a member of the SHC – VC Hospitalist Team, has joined the ValleyCare Charitable Foundation Board of Trustees. He will be completing Randall Brown’s term, who resigned in October.
“We are excited to welcome Chad to VCCF’s Board,” said Shaké Sulikyan, Executive Director. “Chad brings great community knowledge and a commitment to Stanford Health Care – ValleyCare and its patients. We look forward to working with him, as he will help us secure resources for our community hospital and meet the Tri-Valley’s growing and changing healthcare needs.”
Chad is the Assistant Director of Physician Assistant Education at SHC – VC and serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Stanford School of Medicine. He has been a Physician Assistant since 2005, before which he served as a Registered Nurse in Sutter Delta Hospital’s Emergency Department. He began his medical career as a firefighter and paramedic in the late 80’s. Chad and his wife, Traci, are long-time residents of the Tri-Valley, with a deep commitment to the community and its residents. They are the proud parents of Parker Anderson, a junior at Granada High School. Chad is a triathlete and enjoys road-bike racing and competitive swimming.
Chad joins the 11 other ValleyCare Charitable Foundation Trustees, which include Chairman Bob Shapiro, Gary Alt, Lori Arden, Mary Arnerich-King, Joe Carlucci, David Clausen, Larry King, Brad Kinney, Megan McManus, Joyce Shapiro, and Gina Teeples.
